Varanasi. The construction of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has been completed and PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated it. After coming to his constituency Varanasi, PM Modi first offered prayers at the Kaal Bhairav temple and took a dip in the Ganges river. From there he came to Kashi Vishwanath temple to perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva with holy Ganges water and took part in a prayer ceremony. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP President JP Nadda and saints from across the country were also present.
The Kashi Vishwanath Dham project is spread over five lakh square feet and connects the river Ganges with the Kashi Vishwanath temple and apart from this many facilities have been developed for the devotees. Efforts have been made to give Vishwanath Dham a new and more grand form than before. There is also an election in UP next year (UP Election 2022). In such a situation, it is important to understand what message PM Narendra Modi and BJP want to give through this project.
