Today on January 14, the festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated across the country. Whereas in the South, the festival of Pongal is celebrated on this day. On this day the Sun enters Capricorn, due to which it is known as Makar Sankranti. On this occasion everyone is wishing Makar Sankranti. In such a situation, the stars of Bollywood, South and Bhojpuri films have wished Makar Sankranti through social media. While Hema Malini's daughter Esha Deol celebrated Pongal amidst customs and rituals at home, actor Akshay Kumar was seen flying kites on social media, wishing fans a happy Makar Sankranti.
